No way! To have THE experience of the Old Quebec, we will take a walk.
About 3.5 kilometres or 2 miles
It is important to arrive at the tour starting location at least 10-15 minutes prior to the start time. We cannot guarantee you’ll be able to catch up with your tour group if you are late.
We only cancel the tour in case of extreme weather conditions. Otherwise the tour goes on as planned. Please check the weather report and be prepared.
Tips are always appreciated by our guides and restaurant servers, but never expected. They should be given if you believe they did an outstanding job, and further, if you as an individual wish to demonstrate to them your appreciation for that job well done.
Important Restrictions
- Please arrive 10 minutes early as the tour starts on time. You will not be able to catch up with the tour if you are late.
- Just tell the guide your name. No need to print out the ticket or confirmation email.
- ACTIVITY TAKES PLACE RAIN OR SHINE: The activity runs regardless of weather conditions. In the rare situation where the seller is forced to cancel the event, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule to another time (subject to availability) or offered a refund.
- Cancellations will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the tour departure.
Rescheduling Policy
- We understand that your plans sometimes change. That is why we try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible with our Flexible Reschedule Policy.
- Refund after rescheduling: Once you have been rescheduled, there will be no refunds if you decide not to take the tour.
The departing point for our Evening Gourmet Tour is at the Maison Jean-Baptiste-Chevalier (in front of the house, by the street corner. Not inside). Your guide will wait for you there. He/She will raise up a flag which says: HQ Services Touristique Inc.

Itinerary
The Perfect Combination
This delicious food tour, Quebec’s finest, will introduce you to our City’s famed culinary reputation and to the significance of Quebec’s history and culture. The five course, well balanced, French Canadian food experience begins with a light ‘amuse- bouche’, followed by an organic charcuterie tasting, on to a classic flambé prepared at your table in one of Quebec’s most famous restaurants, then, followed by ‘farmhouse to plate’ delicacies in a beautiful 19th century converted warehouse building. To cap the night off we stop for refreshment and some handcrafted ‘not too guilty’ pleasures to top off your perfect evening. Accompanied by a professional and experienced guide, your superb high end food, cultural and city tour is further enhanced by selected wine pairings throughout the evening leaving you feeling fulfilled both intellectually and appetite wise!
